James Jaeger co-founded Arete, leveraging his 30+ years of experience on some of the largest cyber investigations in the US and globally to lead teams on incident response operations in the healthcare, financial, and manufacturing industries.
Prior to joining Arete, Jim established and led General Dynamics’ government and commercial cyber defense and forensics business practice, where he personally directed investigations into some of the largest and most complex network intrusions in world history. As a veteran of the military, he has worked closely with the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and United States Secret Service (USSS) on investigations.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from the US Air Force Academy and a Master of Arts, Management & Supervisions from Central Michigan University.
